I was bored this morning waiting for the afternoon to meet friends at the park when I decided to make something sweet to bring to the park.

My mom had a box of pie crusts and I thought it would be fun to make my first pie pops.  I don't really like typical pie fillings of fruit, so I decided to use chocolate and marshmallows as my filling, sort of like a smore.

I put some flour on the table before I layed out the pie crust and flattened and cut it to the sizes I needed for the pie pops.

Next I added chocolate chips to one half of each pie pop
 And then added the marshmellows..
After the fillings were all completed, I stuck in a pop stick into each pie pop.  I then took the other cut piece of dough and layed it on top of the filling and pinched the sides of the pie pop.

I baked the pie pops on a cookie sheet on 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.  The pie pops came out so gooey and my friends and sisters liked them to.

Sorry all the photos are sideways!
