Made some cupcakes with frosting from scratch today. I saw this technique where you put strips of food coloring inside the liner of your pastry bag to give the frosting a swirled effect. I tried it and it came out looking so pretty!
We tried a new way of making cakepops...making Rice Krispy Treats instead of using cake and still coasting with chocolate. Verdict: Very tasty and the rice krispies stuck better to the stick.
